Oregon 90PX045XTT / 90PX045E Chainsaw Chain Fits Ryobi One+ 18V OCS1830 RAC227
06 mei 2020
Way beter than the chain that came with my Ryobi. Highly recommended
My original chain for my Ryobi battery chain saw was wearing out after not much use. I ordered 2 of these chains. Lets just say I have placed an order for 8 more! With these and my Ryobi One+ 18V OCS1830 I have been whizzing through 6" and above willow trees. So pleased that I have decided to sell my Stihl petrol chainsaw, just too much trouble with petrol, stop and start, noise and fumes.
JR Touch Titanium IQ Professional Blender, 3.7HP Double Vitamix, RRP £650
11 mei 2017
I don't often use the word "Wow" but I am going to have to.
I must admit I was dubious about buying one of these. I was going for a vitamix which everyone raves about but they are rather expensive and I spotted this on auction and got a bargain. When it arrived I picked it up and nearly twinged my back as I was expecting something a lot lighter. On unpacking every single piece came out feeling solid and well built and the jug when full really needs two hands to hold. The unit in total weighs around 5kg and everything has a professional and well designed feel about it from finishing to fit, as an example the jug lid has a quality triple lipped seal (silicone rubber?) which keeps it securely on, makes sure there are no splashes and helps keep the noise down. The second blade that comes with it weighs around 130grams and the term "Professional" leaps to mind again. There is a good safety interlock and child lock. In use there are a number of setting which use intelligent speed control and pulsing to get the best effect which is not present in the vitamixes I have used. I thought I would give it a do or die test as my first use, soup making. 700g of carrots chopped into 4 large pieces, 750ml water, 80g onions 2g salt, 150g peanut butter. The carrots were direct from the fridge and so cold as was the water straight from the tap. I put them in and cranked it up to full power and left it running for 9 minutes. During this time I noticed there was a real breeze coming from underneath that helps to keep the motor cool but it didn’t seem to strain at all with this load and at the end of 9 minutes the motor case was about hand temperature and the 1.5 litres of tasty soup was at 65oC and very smooth. If I had supplied hot water instead of cold and room temperature carrots I think this would have been done in about 4 - 5 mins. It seems quieter than a vitamix I have used but it is still quite loud but hardly surprising considering the power of the motor! Since then I have done a smoothie with cashews, apricots, water, coco powder and whole bananas on it’s 30 second smoothie setting which pulses to ensure full mixing. For me it needed a little longer so I ran it for 30 seconds at full power and it came out impressively smooth. I have not attempted to use the bluetooth function which to me is gimmicky but the temperature probe in the tamper seems to work well enough. Verdict, was I impressed, yes, enough to buy one for my son as a birthday present as well. Is it worth £500-£600? I would not pay that much but then again I am a bargain hunter but assuming (and I have no reason at the moment to think either way other than the excellent build quality) that it lasts well then this seems like a worthwhile investment for a health conscious user or small business.
