I purchased this with the express purpose of modifying the 775 socket to 771, in order to use Xeon CPUs. The specific model I was sent was rebranded Viglen, with a proprietary BIOS. After some messing around I managed to download the correct MSI BIOS, rename it so that the Viglen BIOS recognised it, and flash it manually. Now the motherboard accepts all machine codes, and is fully compatible with Socket 771 Xeons.
Aside from that, it's a pretty well featured motherboard for the price, and accepts 8Gb of DDR3 with no issues. I wasn't able to successfully run an overclock, however.
