Heavily Constructed Buttress to 2" NPT Barrel Adapter
This bunghole adapter is excellent quality and heavy construction. It will convert your 2" buttress threaded bunghole to 2" NPT effectively and seals thoroughly. This will fit most 55 gallon poly barrels and makes it really easy to convert a barrel for diesel or oil storage. I used one of these to allow me to add a vented fuel cap to the buttress side of the barrel while having my rotary hand crank diesel pump on the other side. I purchased a Dee Zee 2" vented cap with threaded neck and it fit perfectly. Makes filling and fueling safer since I no longer need worry about venting the barrel during fuel transfer. I would recommend this product to anyone. It is heavily constructed and well suited for using with poly barrels.
