Too small to get decent chips
I could not get the suction cup to hold as I applied pressure to cut the potato. The area to place your potato is so small that you have to cut up your potato to a size of a lemon for it to fit, so you get short chips. The blade seemed to cut well enough, however, they are not what I would call chunky, more like cheap supermarket oven chip size rather than chunky chip shop chips. I guess the small cutter would be more useful if you want Golden Arches style fries, otherwise don't waste your money on this. I was hoping this would be a handy gadget as we do make our own chips a lot, but I guess it's back to manual chopping or investing in a more professional product that can handle a large potato and have a blade at least 15mm.
