I cut only aluminum with these tools. The TiN plating seems to improve the performance. I usually get a couple that will break within seconds of using them. The rest seem to cut with decent performance and longevity. If I go with a cheaper tool, I get more rejects and cutting speed seems to drop significantly. I can usually cut 6061 aluminum without a lot of trouble. Other softer types of aluminum seem to cut like peanut butter, gumming up just about any tool and breaking it.
I use this on a CNC machine. I try not to use a more expensive tool because I occasionally break a well working tool by making a mistake during setup, and I don't like breaking expensive tools.
I have tried 1 , 2, 3 ,and 4 flute tools. The two flute seems to work best for me. One flute vibrates too much, and 3 & 4 flutes don't seem to remove the chips as efficiently.
New Motorola Model MB7220 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

Upgraded to DOCSIS 3
Bought this to upgrade to DOCSIS 3. Performance on my DOCSIS 2 modem (Linksys) was a bit shabby and I was not getting the throughput that I was paying for. It was easy to set up, I had to contact my service provider to register it. So far, I am pleased with its up-time.
