The Meriwether Foundation Charity Shop offers a variety of pre-owned and new items for sale, in an effort to raise funds for on-going activities, in connection with children, and their mothers. The overall, broad mission is to empower communities, in an effort to alleviate poverty, in rural, impoverished communities in Southern Africa. In terms of specific activities, the Meriwether Foundation, a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non-profit charity, provides free nutritious meals which include staple food, fruit, water and basic education, comprised of early childhood education modules, which have been adapted to rural African educational environment. Under the leadership of a physician, who is one of the hands on founders of the foundation, we provide primary-care and preventative health services. Your purchase will help support the efforts in education, health, nutrition and community development. Please add the Charity Shop to your list of favorite sellers.
