While this was curly Sapele, the color was pretty terrible. Nothing like the picture. I bought a 1x1 from the same seller and it was very nice. This one turned out to be pretty much grey. Nice figuring but nothing like typical Sapele coloring. So just a word of caution - the picture is not of the actual wood you are getting.
