Terms and Conditions
• All guarantees apply from the date of original purchase.
• We offer a 14 day guarantee on parts supplied, excluding electrical and glass items. Engines and Gearboxes have a 28 day guarantee – see details below.
• In the event of any warranty claim, we will ask you to produce full VAT receipts of any service work or parts fitted.
• Our warranty covers normal use only and does not cover the engine/product for track or race use
• The guarantee applies to the component only and does not cover any labour or ancillaries.
• The item you have purchased has been recycled and therefore will not be brand new condition i.e.
o items may have minor cosmetic marks/dirt.
o Seats/Upholstery are free from burns, rips and tears unless specified
o Body panels will be free from major dents/damage. Any small scratches/dents will be clearly marked and photographed.
• All items where necessary will be completely drained of fluids and will require refilling. Please note, many vehicle components use special fluids only. You must ensure that the manufacturer recommendations are followed regarding fluids. Use of incorrect fluids will void any guarantee.
• Mixing of incorrect oil types can cause component failure i.e. The mixing of mineral and synthetic lubricants must not be allowed. Should they mix, it could cause the lubricants to thicken and may lead to major failure.
• The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the component supplied is correct for its application prior to fitting.
• Damage caused by the fitting of an incorrect component is not covered by us.
• All components supplied are security marked/tagged. Tampering with these marks will void any guarantee.
 
 
Engines And Gearboxes
• All engines are supplied as ‘BARE ENGINES’ unless otherwise stated. i.e. they do not have any ancillaries such as starter motor, turbo, aircon pump etc unless otherwise stated.
• All engines and gearboxes are tested prior to sale/supply.
• Mileages provided are taken from the odometer of the donor car where possible and should be considered as a guide only.
• A 28 day guarantee is given on all engines and gearboxes we supply when fitted by a VAT registered mechanic. A full VAT invoice will need to be provided in the even of a claim.
• We insist that a new oil filter and manufacturers recommended engine oil are fitted before running the replacement engine.
• We do not offer warranty on any external parts or labour, broken sensors or shipping costs, warranty covers ONLY the engine block and cylinder head.
• We do not cover due to failure of the cambelt/camchain/timing belt/timing chain.
o It is recommended that all timing chains are checked and adjusted prior to fitting of the engine.
o We insist that timing belts/cambelts and water pumps are replaced prior to installation of the replacement engine.
• It is the purchasers’ responsibility to ensure the correct details are given to our sales team when ordering a component i.e. the correct engine codes/part number.
• The company will accept no liability under this guarantee where engines fail as a result of criminal or malicious damage, fire or theft, or where the engine has failed or been damaged as a result of being repaired by another garage or individual, or where the engine has been used for competitive motor sport.
• If any part has been taken apart or modified by another garage or individual, the warranty will become void.
• All claims under this warranty will be subject to a full investigation by our technicians.
• If it appears that the engine damage has occurred due to over heating or lack of lubrication etc. resulting from neglect or lack of reasonable care, no reimbursement will be made for work carried out elsewhere.
• If upon inspection the engine has been damaged by the malfunction of any components not supplied by us, it will not be covered by this agreement.
