Part 3 (Advanced topics) covers bonding, spectra and reactions of d-block complexes, and d-block organometallic compounds, catalysis and bioinorganic chemistry, and has been substantially updated where necessary. A feature of the new edition is the introduction of 'bottom-line' take home messages that emphasize learning points.
