Condition: Refers to the standard terms and conditions of sale, including any special terms agreed upon in writing.
Contract: Denotes any agreement for Goods made between the purchaser and Crown DIY.
Goods: Encompasses packaged products or services supplied by Crown DIY in accordance with these Conditions.
We: Identifies Crown DIY Ltd., a company registered in England (Company No. 07965765), located at Hope Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 3LS, United Kingdom, with VAT No. 131565236.
You: Represents the customer seeking to purchase Goods from Crown DIY, with You construed accordingly.
 
2. Pricing & Offers:
 
The diligent team at Crown DIY strives to ensure accurate prices and technical specifications at the time of purchase. Amendments to prices may occur due to supplier increases, taxes, or duties. Any such changes will be communicated and agreed upon before order acceptance.
 
3. Delivery & Collection:
 
For detailed information, please refer to our Shipping and Returns page. Delivery timetables are estimations and may be subject to change due to seasonality, weather, or other factors. All prices include VAT. Upon delivery, a visual inspection is recommended for damages, and customers are urged to ensure all ordered products are present. Notification of damages or issues must occur within 48 hours for prompt resolution.
 
Responsibility for the products passes to the purchaser upon signing. Crown DIY is not liable for goods received or unpacked by anyone other than the purchaser. Customers are advised not to fit damaged goods, as replacements may be hindered. Damaged goods, where possible, must be returned in original packaging. For international orders, Crown DIY cannot be responsible for postage costs if items are found to be faulty or damaged.
 
For larger items, failure to take delivery on the first attempt may result in subsequent charges. Customers are advised to check and sign for bulky items upon delivery. Crown DIY is not responsible for any tradesperson costs, consequential loss, or compensation.
 
Ownership of goods remains with Crown DIY until full payment is received.
 
4. Faulty Products:
 
By engaging in a transaction with Crown DIY on eBay, purchasers acknowledge the following terms and conditions regarding removal costs and faulty product replacement:
 
Removal costs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser, and Crown DIY disclaims liability for such costs associated with the initial purchase, returns, replacements, or refunds.
The purchaser agrees to bear all removal costs independently and releases Crown DIY from any obligation or responsibility related to such costs.
In the event of a faulty product, Crown DIY may, at its discretion, replace the faulty product with a new product or collect it from the purchaser for a full refund.
Crown DIY is not responsible for costs associated with fitting, installation, or additional work required for removing or replacing faulty products.
These provisions apply to all transactions conducted with Crown DIY on eBay, and the purchaser is deemed to have accepted these terms upon completing the eBay purchase. Purchasers agree to indemnify Crown DIY from any claims, court costs, other costs, damages, or liabilities arising from failure to adhere to these terms and conditions, including removal costs or faulty product-related matters and including the fitting of replacements.
 
5. Payment Terms:
 
Payment Process: The contract between the parties is formed when payment has been received and the goods are delivered.
Order Confirmation: The item being marked as dispatched does not constitute acceptance of the order. Crown DIY reserves the right to cancel an order up to the point of delivery.
Pricing Errors: If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, Crown DIY has the right to refuse or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
 
6. Cancellation and Returns:
 
Cancellation Rights: Customers have the right to cancel an order before delivery. Crown DIY reserves the right to charge for any additional courier charges if a pricing error or a courier restriction to the customer s postcode occurs.
 
Return Policy: If goods are found to be damaged, faulty, or incomplete, customers must notify Crown DIY within 30 days of delivery. Crown DIY will organise replacements and collections for such situations. Products must be returned in their original packaging. Customers are advised against fitting damaged goods, and no replacements or refunds will be provided for items that have been installed.
 
7. International Orders:
 
Applicability of Guarantees: Product guarantees that depend on British manufacturing standards or assume the end user has a British Standard water system may not be applicable to international orders.
 
8. Responsibilities and Liabilities:
 
Customer Errors: Crown DIY cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred due to errors made by the purchaser during checkout, such as entering incorrect address details. Customers are advised to ensure all information is correct before processing the order.
Plumbers or fitters Costs: Crown DIY is not liable for any plumbers costs, consequential loss, or compensation.
 
9. Stock Availability and Order Processing:
 
Order Processing on Weekends and Bank Holidays: Orders placed over the weekend or on a bank holiday will be processed on the next available working day for delivery purposes.
 
10. Ownership of Goods:
 
Passing of Ownership: Ownership of goods remains with Crown DIY until payment is received in full for all goods supplied to the customer.
