Decker dissects Astaire's work at the level of the shot, the cut, and the dance step to reveal the aesthetic and practical choices that yielded Astaire's dancing figure on screen. The book was just as advertised, the problem I encountered was the method of shipping. They used a shipping company I never heard of and it took much longer than expected to receive the book. I wrote a couple of emails to the seller of the book and received no response. Will not be purchasing from this seller again!
