Book was new, but very low quality - book was clearly marked as, "For sale only in the Indian Subcontinent." This information was not available in the listing, and the seller tried to hide the fact by placing stickers reading, "Genuine" over the cover in places that would reveal that this book was not intended for sale in the US, and was substantially lower quality than the standard for textbooks in the US.
