Discover three easy methods to create quilted pieces with selvages. There is an innovative half-square triangle technique too plus finishing techniques. These modern designs are eye catching. Collecting selvages seems a strange thing to do, but when you see the ideas in this book, I guarantee that you will give some thought to using selvages. Collecting might take time, but when you have enough selvages to incorporate in a project, decide on a sewing method and design. There are 17 practical projects to get you started from small pincushions, Xmas ornaments, table set, pillows, valance and eight striking quilts in different sizes. The projects are superb, the instructions easy to follow and the photos and diagrams are top quality. This is a very interesting book that could be used as a project book - I would be happy to make any of the projects. It could also be used as a starter point for ideas and inspiration. I am also thinking that the ideas in this book could be used for strip quilts. Fabulous.
