Era estrema nelle linee, con la carreggiata postenore semibilmente più larga rispetto a quella anteriore, le prese d'aria lamellari sulle fiancate, e lo era altrettanto a livello meccanico, con il suo poderoso 12 clindri a V di quasi cinque litri di cilindrata. Nella collana Supercars non poteva mancare un titolo dedicata a questa sensazionale vettura raccontata nella sua genesi tecnica e stilistica. Nel volume trovano spazio sia le "antenate" della Testarossa, le Ferrari dalle quali ha tratto in qualche modo ispirazione-365 GTB/4 e BB-sia le sue "discendenti"-512 TRe F512 M-senza dimenticare la versione Spider voluta dall'Avvocato Gianni Agnelli e la sensazionale Mythos, il prototipo firmato da Pininfarina nel 1989, nato proprio attorno alla meccanica di questa sensazionale autumobile. Il libro è completato dalle prove su strada che videro protagonista la Testarossa e le sue "derivate" sulla rivista Quattroruote. The Testarossa, one of the most "provocative" Ferraris of all time, caused a sensation from its "preview" staged in the celebrated Lido de Paris in 1984. Extreme in its styling, with the rear track notably wider than the front and the dramatic air intake strakes on the flanks, the Testarossa was equally impressive in terms of its mechanical specification, with its potent V12 displacing almost five litres. The Supercars series could hardly not have a volume devoted to this incredible car, narrating its technical and stylistic genesis. Room has been found within these pages for both the "forebears" of the Testarossa, the Ferraris that in some way inspired in-the 365 GTB/4 and the BB - and its descendants the 512 TR and the F512 M-not to mention the Spider version developed at the helbest of Avvocats Gianni Agnell and the stunning Mythos, a Pininfarina prototype from 1989, created around the mechanicals of the Ferrari supercar. The book is completed by road tests featuring the Testarossa and its "derivates" published by the magazine Quattroruote.
