Product Information
The Shootist The year is 1901 and legendary retired gun fighter Wayne is diagnosed with cancer, and wants to live out the rest of his days in peace and quiet. He cannot escape his reputation however, and his services are soon called upon to take care of town bad guys Boone and O'Brien. Wayne must decide between comfort and his own personal code of honour. Needless to say moral duty prevails and Wayne quickly goes into action. Based on the novel by Glendon Swarthout and featuring John Wayne and Lauren Bacall. Stagecoach A simple stagecoach trip is complicated by the fact that Geronimo is on the warpath in the area. The passengers on the coach include a a drunken doctor, a pregnant woman, a bank manager who has taken off with his client's money, and the famous Ringo Kid, among others. Angel And The Bad Man An old-fashioned Western with John Wayne at his best as a gunfighter who must choose between the girl he loves and his guns which always seem to attract trouble. When outlaw Quirt Evans is wounded during a bank robbery, he is taken in by a gentle Quaker family and nursed back to health by their lovely daughter Penelope Worth. Quirt begins to rethink his violent lifestyle after falling in love with Penelope and being hounded by his rival Laredo Stevens and a laconic U.S. marshal named Wistful McClintlock.
