To correct the cushion effect, the Hasselblad CF 120mm f/4 EX CF lens manipulates focal length to smooth out an image so it displays as the human eye would see it. The six elements are in four groups arranged symmetrically to the iris diaphragm, reducing distortion while capturing beautiful out-of-focus backgrounds.
