The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 55-200mm F/3.5-4.8 OIS LM R telephoto camera lens is a versatile lens that covers the maximum range when taking close-up photos. Perfect for shooting landscape photos, taking shots of wildlife, or capturing pivotal moments in a sporting competition, this lens produces pictures that are clear, sharp, and in focus. The focal length of this lens is 55-200mm, with the telephoto lens length being 84-305mm. The aperture range is f/3.5-22, making it a good lens for controlling the amount of light that filters through when taking pictures. The aperture is manual or automatic. In automatic mode, the aperture is controlled by a ring that has 1/3 click stops to let you know when the aperture is customizing for light filtering. The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 55-200mm lens has one of the largest apertures on the market, ensuring proper light transmission. Fuji makes it easy for photographers to manage modes with three rings, two switches, and a linear motor that produces high-speed performance. Unlike other lenses, Fuji keeps it a bit old school by putting the switches and buttons right on the lens. The larger hood has just enough resistance that you won’t change the zoom, light filters, or focus by accidentally hitting the lens, but the ability to customize your photography is right at your fingertips. Fuji constructed this lens barrel from metal, and it weighs 20 ounces. The metal construction makes this a sturdy, durable lens that will fit right into your camera bag with your other photography gear without fear of damaging it. The angle degree is 29-8.1, helping you capture the photos you want at just the right angle. The most desired feature of this Fuji lens is the optical image stabilization, or OIS, that it provides. With a 3.61 feet minimum focus distance, this Fujifilm lens allows photographers to isolate subjects or take wide angle views with the same clarity and sharpness. There are two extra low dispersion lenses, with one being a super-low dispersion lens. The super lens is equivalent to a fluorite lens, which helps to control chromatic aberrations and giving you better color contrast and image details. The low dispersion lens renders colors accurately while still keeping the speed you need for fast light transmission and fast focus and refocus. The image stabilization allows for shutter speeds that are 4.5 stops slower and prevents shaking when taking photos without a tripod or trying to zoom in on a smaller section of a larger subject. The Fuji lens is compatible with other filtering systems if you want to take a photo with a vignette or create other custom looks. It is not a weather sealed lens, so be careful when shooting outdoors. The Fuji lens works with other X-series cameras and gear, including the X-Pro I and Fuji X-mount tripods.
