As the name suggests, "Super Street Fighter IV" is an updated version of "Street Fighter IV." You'll choose one of over 30 fighters and face off in one-on-one combat against another opponent. Each fighter in this title has their own story to tell. In the Arcade game type, you'll select a fighter and do battle with over five computer-controlled opponents. Along the way, you'll learn what motivated your character to enter this tournament. Upon beating the game, you'll receive an ending along with a score. If you're just interested in beating Arcade mode, it will take over 15 hours to fully complete it. The title was both developed and published by Capcom and had a worldwide release date of 2010."Super Street Fighter IV" is a fighting game where you and a single opponent fight to the death. Every hit depletes the character's life bar, but you can block, dodge and counter attacks to stay alive. You can also chain moves together to create combos, which will deal extra damage. Every combatant in "Super Street Fighter IV" has their own unique special moves. For example, Ryu can throw a fireball while Chun Li can kick rapidly. After you've landed enough hits, you can activate an Ultra Move. These powerful attacks will decimate a quarter of your opponent's life in one blow. Each of the fighters in this PS3 Capcom game was rebalanced. Some moves were made stronger, while others were made weaker. This rebalancing was done to place every character in the game on equal, fair footing."Super Street Fighter IV" for the PS3 added 10 brand new characters to the roster. Returning from "Street Fighter II" are Dee Jay and T Hawk. Adon, Guy, and Cody make their way over from "Street Fighter Alpha." From the "Street Fighter III" games, Ibuki, Makoto, and Dudley enter the fight. This "Street Fighter" chapter also introduces two brand new characters: Juri and El Hakan. You can play and battle on one of five new stages. Some of these stages, such as Skyscraper Under Construction, are based on other Capcom games.This new "Street Fighter" edition also adds exciting modes. The story mode has two minigames to play where you'll either destroy a car or attempt to smash all the barrels before time runs out. Like past video games in this franchise, there is a multiplayer game type as well. Up to two players can battle each other both locally and online. There are a number of new multiplayer modes, such as Endless Battle, where the winner of a match remains to fight again. The loser then waits in a virtual line behind other players. This gameplay simulates the arcade scene of past titles in the "Street Fighter" series.This PlayStation 3 title features an almost infinite amount of replayability. Whether against the CPU or another human, no two matches are the same. You'll find it easy to continue playing matches as you seek to improve your skills.
