In Walt Disney's The Jungle Book: Rhythm n' Groove, players match onscreen cues contained in "beat-circles" by tapping corresponding keys (D-Pad and buttons) in rhythm to the music being played. The level of accuracy of the keystrokes equates to five levels of points: Bull's Eye (500 points), Perfect (100), Good (50), Average (25), and Miss (0). Correctly hitting three consecutive keys will initiate a "combo" and result in special point awards that continue to grow until a key is missed.<br><br>Rhythm n' Groove features a Story Mode that features nine environments from the animated movie, as players help move Mowgli out of harm's way, namely the danger posed by Shere Khan the Tiger. Four levels of difficulty are available (determining the speed at which the arrow cues fall), and power-ups and character challenges offer bonus points, special effects, and special animations. Songs and characters must be unlocked in Story Mode for use in the two-player Versus mode.<br><br>Other features of The Jungle Book: Rhythm n' Groove include two types of multiplayer games (Power-Up Confrontation and Dance Marathon), lyrics from nine songs, and a multi-purpose Jungle Gallery. The gallery contains a Dancing Stage (view animations), Jungle Theater (FMV from Story mode), Karaoke Music Hall (singalong), and Lou Bega's Bonus (special dance challenges to unlock his video). A "Temple of Fame" tracks the high scores from all gaming modes and difficulty settings. Characters featured in the game include Mowgli, Bagheera, Junior, Baloo, The Monkey, King Louie, Kaa, Buzzy, Shere Khan, and Shanti.
