The Shepherd's Song- Psalm 23 for Childrenby Jan Godfrey and Honor AyresGoes alongside The Secret of Happiness. How nice that someone has the initiative to take some text from the bible and re work it for children. This book is a nicely re-written Psalm 23 made accessible for little ones. It really does make a change from nativities and Daniel in his den! The book is a hard back and is carefully and thoughtfully illustrated in warm colours. It would make a nice gift.Review by Hilary Morgan (20/07/10) HardbackPrice: £6.99 Publisher: Barnabas imprint of BRF Published: 19 March 2010 ISBN: 978-1-841-01802-7

Synopsis
In this classic work, Leo Strauss examines the problem of natural right and argues that there is a firm foundation in reality for the distinction between right and wrong in ethics and politics. On the centenary of Strauss's birth, and the fiftieth anniversary of the Walgreen Lectures which spawned the work, Natural Right and History remains as controversial and essential as ever. "Strauss . . . makes a significant contribution towards an understanding of the intellectual crisis in which we find ourselves . . . [and] brings to his task an admirable scholarship and a brilliant, incisive mind."-John H. Hallowell, American Political Science Review Leo Strauss (1899-1973) was the Robert Maynard Hutchins Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in Political Science at the University of Chicago., In this classic work, Leo Strauss examines the problem of natural right and argues that there is a firm foundation in reality for the distinction between right and wrong in ethics and politics.
