  I recieved these so called Neway valve seat cutter pilots, unfortunately they are reproducrions that are not made to the correct diameter. Luckily I have a lathe and have the resouces to polish the pilots down to size for the cutting head would fit the shaft correctly. some were actually 1.5 thou bigger that my original ones, I know it doesnt sound much but trust me it was a chore to polish hardend steel to the correct size.

  I asked the seller to speed it up and I would pay more because I was in a hurry which they did and for $40 Canadian in shipping charges extra I received it in 3 days. I have used much more expensive cutter heads with removable carbides at school and this set worked just as well, and since there really is no wear on the tool after using it I’m sure I will be able to do dozens of valve jobs with it. All told I saved half what it would have cost at a shop and in way less time.
