Synopsis
During a gala celebration, the president of the Bay Area Birdwatchers Society asked Brooklyn to repair a lesser known book of John James Audubon drawings. At the same party, Brooklyn is flying high after she's asked to refurbish a rare copy of Poor Richard's Almanack. But then Mulrooney's body is discovered in the library. Soon more troubles ruffle Brooklyn's feathers. Her parents pop in for a visit with an unsavory friend in tow, and there's a strange man on her tail. With danger beginning to circle Brooklyn's every move, it's clear she must find answers before things really go south..., In this novel in the New York Times bestselling Bibliophile Mystery series, San Francisco book-restoration expert Brooklyn Wainwright's latest project is for the birds, but it may have her running for her life. . . . Brooklyn's friend runs the Covington Library, which is hosting an exhibit featuring John James Audubon's massive masterpiece, Birds of America. During the gala celebrating the book, she is approached by Jared Mulrooney, the president of the Bay Area Birdwatchers Society, to repair a lesser known book of Audubon drawings. At the same party, Brooklyn is flying high after she's asked to refurbish a rare copy of Poor Richard's Almanack when Mulrooney's body is discovered in the library. Soon more troubles ruffle Brooklyn's feathers. Her parents pop in for a visit with an unsavory friend in tow, and there's a strange man on her tail. With danger beginning to circle Brooklyn's every move, it's clear she must find answers before things really go south. . . ., Whether you need an old book restored or a mystery solved, San Francisco's Brooklyn Wainwright has got you covered.

- m***s (11006)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen 6 maandenGeverifieerde aankoopSuper smooth transaction all the way around from a super seller. Communication in the form of a tracking number. Shipping was lightning fast in bubble packaging protecting the CD in side which was in good condition. The CD was as described and in good appearance, and well worth the value playing very well. Highly recommend seller as one of the best on eBay and a must use. If the opportunity arises to purchase from again I will do so without hesitation and suggest you do the same.
- _***_ (1531)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen 6 maandenGeverifieerde aankoopWorld of books is a good company. I thought their prices were fair. As listed, the cd is in very good condition & it sounds fantastic. Also listed, the cd case looks worn. However, the case wasn't listed as being cracked, and it did not look cracked in the listing. But, it was cracked when i took it out of the brown paper envelope w no padding that it was shipped in, which is how it cracked. Their shipping is slow. My order arrived in 12 days. I appreciate their quick replies to my questions.
- n***n (772)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen maandGeverifieerde aankoopAs usual with this seller: Accurate, perhaps even conservative, condition description; 10-11 days from order to delivery for transatlantic sale; decent packing for (free!) shipping; and good value overall. I'll keep purchasing from them!
