A: These LCD controller kits are used to turn a bare LCD Panel component into an active monitor, provided that your LCD panel is in good condition.

Q: What else do I need to mount a LCD panel into an active monitor?
A: Things needed as follows: LCD controller kit, power adapter, VGA cable/ DVI cable.You could get these items in our store.

Q: Can I use a controller kit for several different LCDs?
A: These boards are matched against one very specific LCD Panel and typically cannot be re-used for another panel – unless its specifications are exactly the same.If you are interested, a programmer could help your project on different LCDs, to change the firmware by yourself. And for this project, need different LVDS cables for different LCDs. You also could find LVDS cables in our store. For details, please check:http://stores.ebay.com/njytouch

A: The panel model no. can usually be found written on a sticker on the back of the LCD panel, and “SAMSUNG LTN150XF-L01” is an example.

Q: Which controller kit shall I turn to?For panels with resolution not more than 1440*900, you may choose our controller boards freely that best meet your needs:
A. With VGA port only: R.RM3251/R.RM3451
B. With VGA and DVI port: R.RM5251/R.RM5451
C. With VGA and DVI port and also support audio input: R.RM5251(audio)/R.RM5451(audio)
D. With VGA port and support TV function: R.RT6251
For panels with resolution more than 1440*900 but not more than 1920*1200, you'd better refer to:R.RM3451/R.RM5451/R.RM5451(audio)

Q: Is any solder thing needed if I buy this kit?

A: No. It is Plug_and_play.

This LCD Controller board has a VGA port and a DVI port.

 It can support LCD displays with a LVDS interface.  

The max resolution that it can support is 1440x900.

Step 1: take away the old LVDS cable and old inverter from the LCD panel.

Step 2: connect our LVDS cable and inverter connector to the LVDS interface and backlight connector on your LCD panel.

Step 3: connect VGA cable/DVI cable to controller board and PC.

Step 4: input power of 12V,4A.
