Dit prachtige en unieke schaakspel werd in 1988 door The Franklin Mint geproduceerd  in een zeer gelimiteerde oplage. Het spel is ontworpen door Stuart Mark Feldman.  Hieronder volgt een Engelse omschrijving van het spel zoals door Franklin Mint geadverteerd: The gods of ancient Greece and Rome captured in a gallery of timeless sculpture. Handcrafted in pure white bisque and jet-black porcelain. Enriched with 24 karat gold accents. Displayed on a specially designed playing board of polished bonded marble, a blend of powdered marble and resins, complete with storage compartiments to hold the playing pieces. Het spel is dus gemaakt van biscuit en porselein en verrijkt met 24 karaats gouden accenten.

Conditie: het spel verkeerd in (zeer) goede toestand! De witte speelstukken zijn een klein beetje verkleurd door de leeftijd.  Alle speelfiguren zijn onbeschadigd! Het speelbord zelf vertoont wat lichte slijtage. Bekijk aub goed alle foto’s (meer dan 130!) hieronder, om een goede indruk te krijgen van de staat van het spel.

Hoewel verzenden mogelijk is, heeft ophalen van het spel de sterke voorkeur! Dit gezien de kwetsbaarheid van de schaakstukken.

Condition: (very) good! There is some age related darkening of the white pieces. All playing pieces are in good condition with no damage. The playing board has a few small marks. Please check out the condition yourself by using all the pictures (over 130!) below.

Since the chess game is very fragile, local pickup (in Maastricht – the Netherlands) is strongly recommended. I will ship this item worldwide and try to pack the game board and chess pieces as good as possible. Please note I’m not responsible for any damage to the chess pieces / game board during transport. The game is very heavy, therefore shipping costs are expensive.
