Verkoopvoorwaarden
The following terms apply to all purchases from Christopher Friend, trading as into, into Sales and into-sales, and are accepted should you purchase an item from or place a winning bid with into on the eBay website. Further information or clarification of terms can be requested by contacting into.
 
1) Your Contract With into
 
1.1) Your contract with into to supply you goods starts when into accepts your order.
 
1.2) Acceptance of an order is made when an item is shipped.
 
1.3) Orders may be refused at any time up to the shipment of goods (see section 4).
 
1.4) Customers should be notified upon shippment of an item, however this notification (or failure to receive any notification) does not affect the status of your order, and confirmation of the status can be requested by contacting into.
 
2) Payment for Goods
 
2.1) Payment for goods should be made within 7 days of customers agreeing to purchase an item.
 
2.2) Agreement to purchase an item is made either by placing a winning bid on an "Auction" item or using a "Buy It Now" (BiN) option on any into Sales eBay listings.
 
2.3) Failure to make payment within the period specified in section 2.1 may result in the sale being cancelled by into and the appropriate action being taken through eBay to cancel a sale on the eBay website.
 
2.4) Most BiN items require immediate payment through PayPal. Payment made through PayPal does not itself constitute an accepted contract by into.
 
3) Shipment of Goods
 
3.1) Goods are currently shipped from the UK by the Royal Mail or couriered mail postal services.
 
3.2) Some goods will be shipped by recorded mail at into's discretion, and will therefore require a signature on delivery.
 
3.3) Goods that remain un-signed for, refused deliveries, or items returned by the postal service for any other reason will be treated as cancellations under the DSRs unless contact can be made with the user to arrange alternative delivery.
 
3.4) Customers placing bids on or purchasing an item agree to make payment for all reasonable shipping costs, as specified in sections 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7.
 
3.5) The price of shipping is included in most listings under the P&P tab. If available this is the total additional price payable for shipping.
 
3.6) Where the price of shipping is not included in a listing, the customer should contact into before purchasing to confirm exact costs, with the agreed shipping costs plus the standard item amount making the total amount payable for the sale.
 
3.7) If a customer purchases an item, before making contact with into, where the shipping amount is not included in the listing, the customer agrees to be charged for any reasonable shipping costs decided by into.
 
4) Cancellation of Sales by into
 
4.1) Under some circumstances into may cancel a sale subject to section 1.
 
4.2) On cancellation of a listing by into, into will attempt to contact the user to arrange either a suitable replacement or full refund.
 
4.3) If, after 10 working days from attempting to contact the user (4.2) no reply has been received, a full refund will be issued.
 
4.4) Reasons for cancellations include, but are not limited to:
- An error in the listing description such as an incorrect title or images.
- Lack of stock - due to missing or incorrectly listed items or stock amounts.
- Suspicious customer activity.
- Customers residing in countries into is unable to ship to.
- Customer provides an incorrect addresses and cannot be reached for clarification or an alternative address.
- Customer provides a PO Box address for items that require a signature on delivery.
 
5) Customer Returns of Unwanted Items
 
5.1) The contract for any item can be cancelled in line with the UK's Distance Selling Regulations.
 
5.2) If a customer wishes to cancel a sale under the DSRs, they must contact into either through e-mail, post, phone or the eBay returns process with this request no greater than 14 working days after delivery of the sale they wish to cancel.
 
5.3) After notification, users must go through the eBay returns process to finalise any returns under section 5.
 
5.4) Cancellations under the DSR terms must be returned at a customer's own cost to the returns address provided by into.
 
5.5) The customer must take reasonable care of all items, and cancelled returns must be received back with the entire original contents and with no additional damage to the item other than that present when sold.
 
5.6) Items further damaged or lost during return transit are unlikely to be refunded.
 
5.7) Sealed software goods which have been opened can not be returned under the temrs of section 5.
 
5.8) A refund for the original item amount, including outgoing postage and packaging costs, will be refunded on successful return of the goods.
 
6) Customer Returns of Faulty or Incorrect Items
 
6.1) Should an item received include faults not described in the original listing, or are otherwise not as described, the item may be returned to into for a repair, replacement or refund.
 
6.2) into Sales must be informed of any faults or problems by e-mail, post or phone in order to give reasonable chance to solve any problems before a return.
 
6.3) Based on information supplied as per 6.2, into may accept a return or offer to repair, replace or refund an item, subject to section 6.11.
 
6.4) Once a return has been accepted, users must use the eBay returns process to finalise the return.
 
6.5) Users must make the entire item contents available to into, either returning to the address provided in 6.4 or making available for collection.
 
6.6) If returning at the customer's cost, and the item is found to be faulty or not as described, the return postage costs will be refunded up to standard non-recorded 1st Class, standard Airmail, or other reasonable standard costs.
 
6.7) Return costs for recorded mail, or deemed excessive or unreasonable, or for items found not to be faulty, or as described, will not be refunded.
 
6.8) The customer must take reasonable care of all items, and returns must be received back with the entire original contents and with no additional damage to the item other than that present when sold.
 
6.9) Items further damaged or lost during return transit are unlikely to be refunded.
 
6.10) On receipt of returned goods, all shall be tested and those found in into's opinion to be faulty shall be either replaced, repaired or refunded at into's discrestion, or as agreed in section 6.3.
 
6.11) Should into be unable to repair or replace a returned faulty or not as described item, a full refund shall be issued.
 
6.12) Goods found not to be faulty shall be treated as cancellations under the DSRs, as per section 5 and 6.13.
 
6.13) Goods found unsuitable for cancellation under the DSRs in into's opinion, shall be made available for collection to the user or subject to 6.14.
 
6.14) Goods found unsuitable for cancellation under the DSRs in into's opinion, that can be returned to the user at reasonable cost in into's opinion, will be returned to the original shipping address at into's cost.
 
7) Missing Items
 
7.1) No items will be considered lost in transit less than 15 working days after posting, or 20 working days for international users.
 
7.2) Should an item be lost in transit, the customer should notify into of this loss and make all reasonable care to locate the item themselves.
 
7.3) Any claimants give permission to into to conduct all resonable investigations to attempt to locate the item and investigate any loss.
 
7.4) Items accepted as missing by into will be liable for a replacement or refund at into's discretion.
 
7.5) In order to process a missing item claim, the customer will be required to print out a lost item claim form, sign it, and return it to into via e-mail or post.
 
7.6) No replacements or refunds shall be issued unless the form in section 7.5 is successfully signed and returned to into by the original customer.
 
7.7) Genuine claimants will receive a replacement or refund subject to 7.4.
 
8) Customer Details
 
8.1) into Sales will make available customer information including details of any transactions to the Police, eBay, PayPal or any other affected parties to assist them with any enquires should the user be suspected of any fraudulent or criminal activity.
