About BlakDogTackle: We are an online-only family run business, specialising in retailing angling equipment and reel upgrades for the specialised UK sea angler or tournament caster. We pride ourself on giving honest advice even if that means we lose a sale and we simply do not do the hard sell.
 
Prices and taxes: Our Ebay prices include 20% VAT (Sales Tax) - this is corrected for buyers from oversees Countries (where VAT is zero rated) by discounting their postage charges to effectively remove the VAT. We are happy to supply VAT invoices upon request; our VAT registration number is GB178315391.
 
Payment: We accept payment via Paypal who manage your credit / debit card details on their own site and they are not stored or held on BlakDogTackle's system at any time. You can pay for your order using a credit or debit card without setting up a Paypal account. We do not accept payments over the telephone, nor do we accept Personal Cheques, however, in very exceptional circumstances, by prior agreement, we may accept Postal Orders but please contact us first to arrange payments using this method.
 
Returns: BlakDogTackle fully complies with the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. You may cancel any order prior to dispatch and will receive a full refund. You may also return any item without explanation within 14 working days from the day after that on which you received the goods. We will refund the full cost of the item once it is received so long as they are unused, their original packaging is complete and undamaged and the item is in a saleable condition. We accept returns from oversees customers on the same basis. To effect a return simply contact us with the details of the items you wish to return and then return them to us: we ask customers to complete the Ebay sale cancellation procedure so that we may reclaim selling fees on these items, in the event that this is not accepted by the customer we reserve the right to deduct relevant seller fees from the refund amount. The cost of return postage for non-faulty items is the responsibility of the customer, as is the responsibility of the goods until they are received by us. We recommend that you use insured post when returning goods as we cannot refund on return items that are lost in the post. New products will be replaced at our expense if a fault occurs during the product's warranty period.
 
International Orders: We have many satisfied customers oversees and welcome inquiries/orders from those Countries that we ship to (please see our postage options). Our postage prices include insurance for loss or damage in transit however the cost of import taxes, duties and customs/handling charges in the recipient Country are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
 
Lost or Damaged Orders: All the products that we sell come with a full manufacturer's warranty and any products found to be faulty upon receipt will be replaced without fuss at our cost. Should any items become faulty during use, please contact BlakDogTackle to discuss the options for repair under warranty or replacement; should you decide to accept a warranty repair on any item your statutory rights are not effected in any way. Should we require the return of a damaged item then BlakDogTackle will compensate you fully for the cost of return postage when we receive the item. All orders are covered by full insurance; if your order is dispatched and does not arrive we will refund you the full amount of your order, including postage and packing costs once the required waiting time (defined by Royal Mail) has passed so long as you will certify in writing by letter or email that you have not received the order. Currently items are only declared officially lost by Royal Mail 15 working days after the due date of delivery in the case of First and Second Class items and Standard Parcels, 10 working days in the case of Next Day deliveries and 25 working days in the case of international services. Likewise we will refund you the cost of or replace any items of your order that are damaged in transit so long as you provide us with evidence of the damage to allow us to make an insurance claim.
