This wonderful 1978 MGB GT has been lovingly restored for over a year now. Here is a list of some of the work she has had done: ONLY 150 miles since: *Full engine re-build *Full Gearbox re-build *Overdrive unit overhaul *Rear Axle Overhaul *Steering Rack Overhaul *New UPRATED braking system (Callipers, cylinders, "Greenstuff Kevlar" brake pads, Drilled and grooved disks, braided brake hoses) *New clutch system *New Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust System *New Front suspension (springs, wishbone, spring pans, POLYBUSHES, dampers, stub axles) *New Alternator *New Electronic "Accuspark FlameThrower" Ignition *Overhauled Carburettors with (soon to be fitted) Sport Pancake Chrome Filters *2 year old rear suspension (springs are now showing light surface rust but all bushes upgraded to polybushes) *Customised Interior (New Door cards, black cloth with red piping seats, Passenger Map pocket) *Customised Exterior (SEE PICTURES!) The underside is as solid as a tank and has been treated with an agricultural grade rust-proofing enamel to make sure it stays that way for at least 5 years! This can be seen in the pictures. This vehicle comes with a folder literally bursting (I might include a newer, larger boxfile in the sale) full of history. There's letters, notes, invoices, receipts, MOTs, etc. The history dates back to around 1983. 92,600 miles on the clock and believed to be genuine although this really doesn't matter as it's basically a new car! Comes with 7 months MOT. Can tax for winner to drive away at cost. The car has been re-sprayed but if you get really close, you'll notice a few imperfections such as a couple of small runs and some slight crazing (light grooves) under the new paint. These are only superficial and could easily be fixed by anyone who has the time to do so. There is also some fogging on in the corners of the windscreen but again is only cosmetic and it passed the MOT without even an advisory. More Photos available on request!!
